Hi y’all!

I am not sure anyone reads this anymore, but I just wanted to give folks a tiny update about what i am up to currently.

Right now I am doing a lot of work with a local non profit group, The Center for Artistic Revolution, CAR. I have working with them for quite a while now and owe more to this group than I will ever be able to return. If everyone could check out the website and sign up for the e-mailing list, that would be great and you would be able to keep up to date with all of CAR’s news.

Thanks!

Love,

Adam Britt

Today, five Equality Riders were arrested for attempting to attend a church service that was open to the public. I don’t understand.

After the Riders were taken to jail, we had a silent vigil. We sang songs, told our stories and read Bible verses that we enjoyed or that were relevant.

We then moved to a gazebo on campus that was built by Reverend Scott Jones, who is a gay minister at the Cathedral of Hope, when he was at OBU. We had plans to hold a bible study at the gazebo, however the police told us that we could not be there, so we held another silent vigil outside the gazebo. As I was sitting on the ground, I entered this really interesting state of meditation that I have never experienced before. I don’t remember the thought processes I went through in those 2 (+/- an hour) hours, however I came out of it having the answers to many things I had questions about before. My eyes were opened to so many things and I am very glad that I was able to have that time.

The rest of the day was spent talking with students, however we could not talk to nearly as many students as we wanted, as we were not allowed on campus. Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to have more conversations.

Love,

Adam
